SECTION 3: HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW:

ROUTES OF ENTRY: Eyes, skin, ingestion, inhalation.

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS

EYES: Severe irritation including redness, tearing, and blurred vision.

SKIN: Prolonged or repeated contact may cause skin irritation and or dermatitis.

INGESTION: Swallowing can cause irritation of the mouth, throat, and stomach. Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may result.

INHALATION: Fumes from these materials when heated or used indoors may cause headaches, nausea, and dizziness. Fumes
may also irritate the nose, throat, and lungs.

ACUTE HEALTH HAZARDS: Prolongs exposure to high levels of fumes may cause unconsciousness.

CHRONIC HEALTH HAZARDS: Product contains trace amounts of crystalline silica. Cutting or grinding hardened material will
release respirable crystalline silica. Prolonged or repeated inhalation of respirable crystalline silica
from this product can cause silicosis, a serious and fatal lung disease.

SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES

EYES: Flush with large amounts of water for at least fifteen(15) minutes. Lift upper and lower lids to ensure all material
is flushed out of eyes. Contact a physician

SKIN: Immediately remove any contaminated clothing and wash affected areas with soap and water. Thoroughly wash contaminated
clothing before wearing. If irritation or redness develops consult a physician.

INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Vomiting can cause the material to be aspirated into the lungs. Keep person warm and calm.
Obtain immediate medical attention.

INHALATION: Move individual to fresh air. If he/she is having difficulty breathing or is not conscious obtain immediate medical
attention.
